The story takes place in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China. Xu Dashuai (played by Xu Jinjiang) obtained the Five Demon Tile Cup in an ancient tomb and collected it together with the Golden Buddha that suppressed them. At first, due to the suppression of the Golden Buddha, the Five Demons did not dare to act recklessly. However, the housekeeper saw that the Golden Buddha was greedy and stole it.
