Murder in San Jose

The story begins with a woman Yanny (Chua Zhuoyan) traveling to the United States to visit her girlfriend Ling (Cheng Xiuwen) who she had not seen for many years in order to escape her failed relationship in Hong Kong. Ling and her husband Tang (Tong Dawei) live an ideal life that seems to be peaceful and worry-free in San Jose. But in just five days of visit, Yanny exposed the hidden identity behind the couple. Each of the three people has an unspeakable history, and they are repeating the trajectory of a murder case, rushing towards the end of one's death. Loneliness and doubt have accumulated to a heavy price for the American Dream of strangers.
